Hermes

Hermes is the messenger of the gods. He is the god of thieves, travellers, commerce, Sports, Athletes and border crossings.

He is also the guide for the underworld. His symbols are Winged sandals, winged hat and Rooster.

Famous things which Hermes did are

• Hermes helped King Priam sneak into the Greek camp and asked for the body of Hector back

• Hermes told Calypso to release Odysseus from her island as well as giving Hermes a plant (moly) which made him immune to Circes magic.

• Hermes helped Perseus by giving him his winged sandals and winged cap.

• Hermes brought Pandora to Earth and filled her with curiosity.
